CAMBODIA 5 DAYS EXTENDS THE VIETNAM ADVENTURE
DAY 1 Arrive Phnom Penh Today fly to Phnom Penh, met at airport by western tour leader. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure in Cambodia s bustling capital city.
DAY 2 Phnom Penh Confront Cambodia”s tragic past today, visit the Tuol Sleng, Genocide Museum as well as the killing fields. In the afternoon we will tour the Royal Palace.
DAY 3 Fly to Siem Reap and explore the Angkor Complex taking in Ta Prom, Bayon and Angkor Thom .
DAY 4 Angkor Wat Enjoy the day exploring the sights of Angkor, visit Banteay Srei Temple then a trip to a local village.
Day 5 Siem Reap Morning at leisure in Siem Reap. The tour ends today with a transfer to the airport for your flight home.
LAOS 5 DAYS EXTENDS THE VIETNAM ADVENTURE
DAY 1 Luang Prabang This lovely city is the cultural heart of Laos the forgotten land of Indochina. Arrive and met at airport by western guide. Transfer into town and relax in this chilled out town.
Day 2 Luang Prabang Up early to witness the hundreds of buddhist monks in their vibrant robes collecting alms from the locals, then climb Phousi Hill for views over the town. After lunch we catch a boat up the Mekong River to the Pak Ou caves, renowned for the countless Buddha carved statues found within.
Day 3 Luang Prabang Today we visit the National Museum and the most famous temple in Luang Prabang, Wat Xiang Thong. In the afternoon head to the picturesque Kuang Si waterfalls. With dinner we watch a Lao cultural show.
Day 4 Vientiane Relaxing morning before flying to Vientiane . Check into hotel then afternoon visit to Wat Si Saket, That Luang Stupa and the Pataxai Victory Monument. Dinner at one of the many restaurants that line the Mekong .
Day 5 Vientiane After breakfast, transfer to airport for your flight home. Tour ends.
THAILAND 3 DAYS EXTENDS THE CLASSIC CIRCUIT
Day 1 Sankhlaburi After breakfast, we drive out of Bangkok in a westerly direction. In about two hours we reach Kanchanaburi of Bridge over the River Kwai fame, spend an hour or two in town exploring the bridge and the Death Railway War Museum ,have lunch by the river then on to Sankhlaburi, 225 kilometres away, our destination for the night.
Day 2 Sankhlaburi is nestled up in the hills close to the Thai - Burmese border. Many of the surrounding villages are Mon or Karen who have left Burma for a better life in Thailand. The day will be spent exploring the lovely tow, the Mon bridge, the longest wooden bridge in the country followed by a visit to the Three Pagodas Pass at the border with Myanmar.
Day 3 Bangkok This morning tour the local markets where we purchase some gifts and medicine to donate at a local orphanage. The orphanage we visit is made up of Burmese, Karen and Mon children who have lost their parents in the conflict in Burma. We have been supporting this orphanage for over 5 years. Meet the lovely children and give out our gifts. After lunch we drive back to Bangkok, arriving early evening. Dinner at the hotel where the tour concludes.
